Thomas Malvasia

DanceSport Carolina owner Thomas Malvasia has been a professionalLatin and Ballroom competitor and instructor since the age of 17. Originally from New York, Thomas has competed in major DanceSport competitions in Manhattan, Atlantic City, Boston, and much of the east coast. Thomas attends most competitions in the southeast where he continues to compete in both Professional and Pro/Am divisions.

After much competitive dance experience, he decided to begin his own competition in 2008 - the prestigious Southern Paradise Ball. The SPB is a dance competition held here in Charlotte at the Ballantyne Resort and is a founding member of the Rising Star Newcomer Circuit.
